September is the Festival of Learning’s Have A Go month, and that’s something the Hugoversity prefects are always willing to do.
Whether it’s tackling the Great North Run or leaving the office behind, we’re always up for trying – and learning – new things.
In fact, the pandemic has meant a great many people have had to have a go at new things – often with surprising results. After all, as they say, necessity is the mother of invention.
Take our regular Hugoversity sessions. When the lockdown restrictions were first announced, we had to put a stop to our in-person seminars and quickly come up with an alternative!
So, we’ve taken our seminars online through the magic of Zoom, and you can now keep up with all our top-notch PR and marketing advice from the comfort of your own home.
In fact, it’s that idea of education on your own terms that is behind Hugoversity, as we believe that everyone should have the chance to keep learning, without necessarily investing vast amounts of time and effort.
Our monthly seminars last around half an hour, are fully interactive – yes, there may well be a quiz at the end – and you don’t even need to get dressed to attend.
If you’ve saved time recently by ditching the commute, maybe you fancy having a go at reading more? Well, we’ve got that covered too. The Hugoversity library features a different book review each month – all with a PR and marketing slant.
You might decide to read the whole book following our recommendations, but, if you don’t, we’ve condensed the salient points for you in each review. See? Learning at your own pace.
We also know there are plenty of people out there who want to have a go at managing their own PR and marketing – we can help you with that too.
Our training sessions are based on the Chinese proverb, “Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand”.
We can work with any size team, from large groups to one-on-one sessions – all according to the Government regulations of the day – our courses are always bespoke to your firm’s vision, values and ethos.
So, if you or your team want to have a go at learning something new, throw us a bone on 01325 486666 or email study@hugoversity.com, and we’ll see what we can do.
